Information on the processing of personal data

Who is the controller of your personal data?
The administrator of your personal data is the company Flagship EXECUTIVE SEARCH s.r.o., with registered office at Žižkova 1683/13, Jihlava, ID No.: 212 29 538, VAT No.: CZ 212 29 538, registered in the Commercial Register: At the Regional Court in Brno (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Flagship").

Where do we get our personal data from?
From your response to a job advertised by us on our website (www.flag-ship.cz), from your posted profile of a job seeker on job portals (e.g. www.prace.cz, www.jenprace.cz, www.jobs.cz), from the enquiry form you sent to www.flag-ship.cz; from your direct approach to Flagship with a request for cooperation by email or telephone; from your profile on the professional network LinkedIn, etc.

For what purpose do we process your personal data and what kind of data is it?
Recruitment for vacant positions; the placement of your person in a suitable position is preceded by the processing of your information in Flagship's database of suitable candidates, the execution of the selection procedure by one of our consultants. After mutual agreement on the recommended positions between you and the Flagship consultant, your presentation to the selected employer follows.

Personal data processed:
Identification data, contact data, education data, data on work experience and preferences (data provided in the professional CV and motivation letter, or documents on education and courses attended), etc.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you give us the right to:

  • the processing of personal data for the purpose of offering vacancies and the subsequent presentation to employers, which we agree together,
  • sending you email communications: e.g. vacancies matching your requirements, presenting the jobs we have found for you, 
  • we also send you interesting and useful news from the HR sector, a survey on satisfaction with Flagship's services, etc. 

Processing of cookies
Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information that are downloaded to your device when you visit the Flagship website or Flagship's social network profile. We use cookies to ensure that our website is displayed correctly for you. They allow us to remember your preferences and activities over a period of time, so that you do not have to do them again when you return to our site. Information from cookies is used solely for the purpose of optimising the services and features of our website, including sub-pages and links. If you do not agree with the use of cookies, you can disable or restrict them in your browser settings.

Will your personal data reach any other person?

  1. Potential employers
    If you are successful in the selection process, we will submit your file (CV, cover letter and any other relevant documents) to the employer whose vacancy we have assessed as the most suitable for you. Before being recommended to the employer, each candidate is asked whether he/she agrees with the recommendation or introduction to the employer. We will not pass on your data to any employer without your explicit consent.
  2. Service providers
    Flagship does not, as a matter of principle, provide applicants' personal data to any other commercial companies. However, in the course of its business, Flagship cooperates with commercial companies that provide services to it externally; these suppliers may then process your personal data in the course of providing their service. These include IT service and application providers; cloud storage providers; contact database administrators. Flagship is a user of Microsoft and Google cloud services and is also a user of EcoMail. However, you need not worry. According to their declarations, all of the named companies fully comply with the data protection requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). All of the named companies participate in the Privacy Shield framework agreements on the transfer of personal data.

How long will we use your data?
Consent is valid until revoked. You can withdraw your consent by email to: info@flag-ship.cz.

Why do we require personal data from you?
The request to provide personal data is contractual, you are under no obligation to do so. However, without knowing your professional CV, we are unable to carry out the recruitment process and place you in a suitable position.

What rights do you have in relation to the processing of personal data?
When processing personal data, Flagship complies with the obligations imposed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), as well as with the national data protection regulations of the Czech Republic.

You may withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time, even without giving reasons for your decision, and we will fully respect this. Just send an informal email to info@flag-ship.cz. However, the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the previous processing. Furthermore, you have the right to obtain confirmation from us as to whether or not your personal data is processed by Flagship and, if so, you have the right to obtain detailed information about this processing.

You also have the right to:
Request the correction of inaccurate personal data and the completion of incomplete personal data;
Request the erasure of personal data if;
(a) they are no longer necessary for the purposes set out above;
(b) you have withdrawn your consent to their processing;
(c) you have objected to the processing of the personal data and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for Flagship to continue the processing;
(d) the processing is carried out unlawfully.

To restrict the processing of personal data if;
(a) you contest the accuracy of the personal data (for the period of the accuracy check);
(b) the processing is unlawful but you do not request erasure of the personal data;
(c) we no longer need your data but you request that we retain it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
(d) you have objected to the processing of personal data (for a period of time until it is verified that the legitimate grounds of the Controller outweigh your legitimate grounds).

To obtain from Flagship your personal data relating to you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to transfer that data to another controller if:
(a) the processing is based on the applicant's consent to the processing of personal data or on a contract;
(b) the processing is carried out by automated means.
Not be subject to automated individual decision-making, including profiling, which Flagship does not carry out.

To be informed without delay if there is a breach of security of your personal data which would result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms.
To have the right to object if you believe that the provisions of data protection legislation have been breached.
